I need to get my wisdom teeth taken out. However, I am over 25 is it too late? Or if they don't bother me do I need to take them out?

There could be one of several reasons why wisdom teeth may need to come out, even if they don't bother you.

There may not be enough room for them to come in all the way; they may be coming in at the wrong angle or in the wrong place; maybe there are hygiene issues and the health of more important teeth are being jeopardized.

A proper clinical evaluation and radiographic images are needed to determine why a tooth needs to be removed or not.

If a tooth needs to come out, it's never too late to do so.
I can't comment on the specifics of your situation without seeing your mouth and X-rays.

The wisdom teeth should be evaluated periodically for potential problems.  Being 25 is not too late to assess the condition of your wisdom teeth. If the decision is made to remove them the younger you are the better is the outcome.
We will gladly evaluate your teeth at your convenience. We can be reached at

Good luck
