we are having an inground pool installed in our backyard right now. the hole has been dug, electric trench and pipes and wires placed...etc.    we would like to be sure to be sure that water drains properly around the pool once everything is complete.  we also have an existing dry well right in the middle of the yard , so I am not sure if this will suffice, or if supplementary drainage should be laid while the yard is under construciton?  Also not sure of the zoning issues regarding how close we can drain the water vis a vis our property line in New Rochelle.

Thanks for your question. If is difficult to know whether the existing drains will be sufficient without taking a look at them.  As far as the drywell size goes, we could perform a few test to see if it is working and if it is sufficient.  Would there be any plans on the drywell (size)?  Over the last 20 years we have done plenty of drainage work in New Rochelle and Scarsdale including a lot of drywells and are familiar with the inspectors in that area.

I would be happy to help you with your project. If you need any further information please call me, or reply on ZOOMNIA. My name is Mel Donaton and I'm the owner of Donaton Landscape and Excavation. My telephone number is (914) 533-6652 or (914)-557-0686.
