I bought a washer and dryer recently and need to have them installed in my kitchen. I have the proper plug run to the basement so it needs to be brought up one level. Also need a dryer vent and water hook-up. the wall I want the machines installed against is exterior and it has a window. I'd be willing to vent through the window. Who would do this service for me and how much would it cost? ballpark.

Hi,

I'm a License Contractor. And will gladly stop by your Home. Take a look of the work and write a Proposal for you.

There are few cost to keep in mind:

1. Electric: Rough Two Receptacle Outlets for Washer and Dryer. (If  Dryer is Gas power you still need an outlet. But if is Electric you need 220 Volt line)

2. Plumbing: Run Drain LIne,  Vent Line, Hot & Cold Water Lines. Also w Dryer if is Gas a Line has to be Run.

3. If you have a Window you could Run Dryer vent through. But is better to make a permanet conection thru wall Duct.

4. If you want all the pipes to be inside the wall space we have to figuere repairs as well.

Average cost for al This could range between  $1,800.00 and $2,500.00.

If you want and exact cost assesment please call me  at (914) 774-6942

Thanks,

Richard Porras
