I  am looking for someone to handle the following:
1. Replace small external window trim, which has been water-damaged. Once replaced, it should also be sealed, caulked, primed and painted white.
2. Need to strip old paint, wash, caulk, repair the wood as needed, prime, paint external frames around 3 double and 1 single windows.
3. The exterior paint on my garage door is flaking and the door is dirty. I am looking for someone to do a good job of stripping old paint to achieve smooth surface, repairing the wood as needed, washing, priming and painting the door.
Looking to do this approximately within a month.

Relative to replacing the piece of wood trim, you might consider using a composite material in the piece in question is exposed to a large amount of water on a consistent basis or is surrounded by dampness much of the time (like a basement window situation).  Otherwise, regular wood will do fine.

Old painted wood surfaces with multiple coats of paint can be made smooth but it is labor intensive and therefore more expensive than simply scarping off loose paint, feathering the edges and then repainting.  The other issue that may arise is the possible presence of lead based paint.  This can be checked with a simple kit one can buy at Home Depot.  If there is lead paint on the surfaces and one is going to try to sand the surface to smooth one gets into lead abatement with all of its attendant costs.

If there is lead paint on the doors, I believe it would be cheaper just to buy new doors.  One last thought; painting can't be done when the temperature goes below 40 degrees or it won't cure properly.  You need to keep this in mind as you plan the timing of your project.  -
