I lost my job a month and a half ago. I was happy that i got a different job but at less pay. Granted its few thousand a year less, but it definitely sets me back. I gained a lot of credit card debt while unemployed, i couldnt apply for unemployment because job i had previously i quit. But i was desperate so i told NYS dept of labor i didnt work due to lack of work. I was a outsied contractor for a guy, but then he let me go, and thats how i was unemployed. I also have a bout 3k in imedical bills, 6k owed on my car, 5k owed on schools. Everyone is asking me for payments and i cant take it anymore. Im ruining my credit and my life. Im in so much debt i cant stand it anymore. New job, i received paycheck 4 days ago, now i have about $60 left after paying off all past due bills. what can i do hear....

All you can do is establish a budget that outlines how much can go towards servicing debt every month, while still saving some money, and then prioritize.

Your first priority should be your car payment as it is a secured loan. I would then contact your credit card and student loan lenders ask for an interest free grace period and/or a lower minimum payment. Try to stagger them so get you 6 months on the student loan and 12 months for the credit cards.
 
You can try the same with the medical bills but from my experience they are not equipped to work like that. For the medical bills I would send them a nominal $5 or $10 per month and deal with it when you can....even if it takes 5 years. Good Luck!
