There is no requirement that a separation agreement be filed anywhere unless the agreement is being used in a divorce proceeding. If that is the case, it would be filed in the office of the County Clerk in the county where a divorce action is brought. If no divorce proceeding has been commenced, it is very unlikely that the agreement was filed.

If the agreement was filed with the County Clerk, you can see it there or obtain a copy of it there.

A separatioin agreement is a contract. So long as it was properly executed, it is enforceable whether or not it is filed with the State.

If you need help, you may call me. I have been practicing in the family law and divorce areas for over 30 years.
