As part of a larger project we need a house-wide front porch re-floored (total to be replaced is 23 ft. x 8 ft. plus 4 11.5 ft. wide steps - that's about 20% to be replaced) and an adjacent deck rebuilt (likely with some structural repairs) 12 ft. x 15 ft. plus 24 fr railing plus 2 6 ft wide steps. Decked with cedar or mahogon (or, perhaps, a Trex look-alike with better properties) and with solid, attractive, cedar railings - with closely spaced vertical posts. What should this cost?

Hello, I would be happy to give you an estimate on your project, I will just need to take a look at it. Is there a way for me to look at it? Thank you, Wil Lazo Artizonconstruction.com NARI member

My name is Doug Waschenko and I have Westchester licensed  carpentry contracting business called the Michael-Douglac Consruction Co. It was established in 1972.

As with most jobs like this, it is difficult to project a cost without seeing the actual job conditions. Even though you have specified some options that you would consider it  is not possible for me to see from here what efforts will need to be made in order to do this job properly.

My suggestion is that if you are serious about doing the job, call me at (914) 573-9769 or email me at hammer-99@optonline.net and set up an appointment for an estimate. It is free and it has no obligation.

I would be very happy to give you a written estimate for the work.

Thank you for your inquiry.
