As a general rule, you should not allow family members to use your address for IDs or things like that except in the most exceptional circumstances b/c you loose control of what comes to your house and any ramifications or events which must occur. Although family is family and blood is thicker than water, people are also human may do things unintentionally that may not be in your best interets.

I would need to know more about the circumstances.

Mu name is Don London. I am an Immigration and bankruptcy attorney and can be reached at (914) 965-7230.
