5 years ago I paid $20,000 to have my driveway paved. The contract called for 2 inches of tar. Last year the driveway started cracking and by measuring the thickness of the tar in the cracks I could see the driveway was only paved with 1 inch of tar. Is it too late to sue the contractor ?

In answer to your question you are probably OK as the statute is 6 years, HOWEVER this is a generic answer and the contract would need to be reviewed in order to answer you properly.

If you wish to follow up please call Hugh Jasne, 997-1212.  We are located in White Plains.
