It would be great if we could get a picture of the furniture by e-mail to have a better idea; after that we could let you know if it is worth it to refinish it or not.

We usually refinish and/or touch-up any kind of furniture that customers think they are too old and nothing can be done, but they end up looking so beautiful like if there were brand new.

Our e-mail : fcabello@decupholstery.com

                    : decupholstery@gmail.com

We do any custom-made upholstery and drapery work, we also work on furniture refinishing, caning, and interior renovations.

Please feel free to contact us if  any question.

Many factors determine the value of an antique- rarity, condition, and  even sentimental value. Pieces made in America before 1850  generally have the most inherent value, and all efforts should be made to retain  as much original material and finish as possible. In general, less is more when it comes to restoration, but sometimes we see pieces in very bad condition.

At our firm, we often inspect the piece at our workshop or from photographs  e-mailed to our website  in order to  arrive at an estimate of  the extent and cost of repairs. We then tailor our  restoration approach to the needs of the customer and the value of the piece..
