I have a Whirlpool gas dryer that works correctly, but leaves the laundry damp and cool. Is there a replacement , fuse, thermostat, or heater coil replacement to correct the problem?

If it is a gas dryer, you could possibly need a new igniter.  It's hard to say without looking at the appliance.  If you need help, we could send a technician.  The service call fee is $59.95 with a one year guarantee on parts and labor.

It sounds like your dryer is short cycling and not keeping the heater on long enough.That can be caused by a weak heater, bad thermostat or a venting problem.

yes there is a ther-mo fuse.
