Are there any building codes regulations for putting up a rear deck in the backyard of a home in Greenburgh? In fact, the plan is simply to put up a platform about 6-8inch above the ground, that is about 9 x 13 feet to put some chairs. That's all.

Hello,    about your  question of  regulations,   up to 18" above the ground you do not need

a permit and your taxes will not  raise .
