Question: I have nerve damage on my foot, due to back problems. Fibromyalgia, and IBS symptoms, will acupuncture be helpful?

Answer: Acupuncture may be helpful. An evaluation and treatment are needed. Other holistic approaches such as NAET, used to eliminate allergies and sensitivities, are frequently helpful. You can reach my cell at 914-645-6403 to discuss. Take care.

I have had excellent results with all the conditions you mention: back problems, fibromyalgia, digestive issues and nerve damage. Acupuncture is a holistic medicine, and all the various syndromes you mention are related and will be treated as a whole pattern of disharmony even as I address the specific manifestations. To give you a better idea of how they might be related I would have to ask more questions. Feel free to call me to set up a first visit, and we can discuss this matter further.

Thanks for writing!

Thank you for your inquiry about my services. I have had success in managing the symptoms of both Fibromyalgia pain and IBS (together and isolated cases). Acupuncture is not a 'quick-fix', but will address the symptoms as well as getting to the root of the problem. As far as how many treatments I would suggest, it varies, depending on severity of disease and your overall health.

If you have any further questions, or would like to set up an initial consultation, I may be contacted at (914) 472-2600.

Thank You,
Andrea

Acupuncture may be helpful with the problems you mentioned (nerve damage on my foot, due to back problems, fibromyalgia, and IBS symptoms). It may help the issues directly or may help the secondary symptoms formed as a consequence of having to compensate over time with these issues.
A trial  of therapy would be the most informative in determining how much help acupuncture might provide.
