A relation of mine passed away and while closing their home I came across several dentures and bridges. Can these be recycled anyway? If yes, how? I know eyeglasses can be, what about these. If not, do they have to be disposed of in any special manner? Thanks and have a great day!

Thank you for your inquiry!  In most cases the dentures or bridges that your relative had were custom made and not likely to be usable or recyclable.  However, if there are any metals involved, it is possible that the metals can be refined and either be salvageable for scrap or reused by a dental laboratory to offset the costs of dental work and as such may provide some financial assistance to a needy individual.  If you care to drop them off at our office, we would be happy to evaluate them and determine if there is any possible use.

They would be of no use to any one else and require no special disposal.
Charitable thought.
