If you were teaching acting techniques to a group of students who do not have any interest in the field, where would you begin?

Hello,

Thanks for reaching out to us.

I'd like to know more about the students first.....
What are their ages, backgrounds, and interests?

I would say that you can approach it from more of a standpoint that the students will learn how to communicate better and understand other people's points-of-view.

Perhaps you'd want to do improv and theatre games, rather than relaxation exercises and vocal techniques.  Maybe they'd prefer creating their own theatre instead of learning scripted monologues or scenes.

Good luck.  Feel free to write back again.
